Umbrella Species

Inspired by the anthropomorphic Ape photos of James Mollison, I set out to raise awareness at a UK print fair on the mass extinction unfolding today. In doing so, fund raise for conservation. Producing them with sustainable materials was key. Bypassing the plastic sleeves by die-cutting my own petal envelopes was a feat.
